Ti år etter hendelsene i "Nattsvermeren", er Hannibal Lecter fortsatt på frifot. En hardt deformert milliardær som har vært offer for Lecters matvaner, klarer å spore ham til Roma, og sender FBI-agenten Clarice Starling dit. Men Lecter lar seg som vanlig ikke fanges så lett. Regi: Ridley Scott.
