SOUTH DAKOTA, STURGIS: The world's biggest motorcycle rally is held annually in Sturgis South Dakota. Over one million bikers from all over the United States ride to this little town for a week long party every August. Naturally the sleepy little town swells into a booming marketplace for all kinds of businesses selling interesting t-shirts, unique motorbikes and even weapons. This was a roadtrip slash party slash shopping opportunity I did not want to miss!To be honest I'd never heard of this annual motorbike rally in Sturgis before it was being slandered in a major Norwegian newspaper that very same week as a horrible Mexican beer plague spreading event! Since most things the media says is bad, is generally quite awesome, I pitched the idea of driving there to Sunil who immediately said: YES LET'S GO THERE!!!
