In a room filled with opium smoke, Lee Yeon from 1938 starts after reading a letter. Yeo Hee and Jae Yoo got kidnapped last night. Lee Yeon meets the Chief Commissioner who proposes an exchange deal. Akira informs Hong Joo and Lee Rang that the one hostage who gets to live depends on them. The air is tense as Lee Rang's eyes shake at Hong Joo's words. That's when Lee Yeon bursts into the room.
