Having been preordained by the Emperor to manage the troupe in the imperial harem, TSAU-YIN takes the chance to taunt LAU-FEI. Lady YUE-YUET asks BA-CHA to call upon her in the palace, confronting him with SEUNG-LING face-to-face. Without compunction, BA-CHA instead warns SEUNG-LING not to yell at him, which is such a major blow to SEUNG-LING that she lays ill in bed.
