But Takenobe Yukio, CEO of an Osaka-based construction painting firm founded in 1950, is solving the issue of an aging, shrinking workforce by proactively recruiting female staff. Trained using innovative digital platforms, his team including tradeswoman Ishimoto Nozomi leverages a creative female sensibility to tackle projects such as schools and the traditionally built temples of historic Kyoto Prefecture.
