Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially underway, and that means it’s time to introduce some new characters! Shang-Chi played by Simu Liu is the latest addition to the MCU and it’s therefore time for him to get the traditional superhero origin movie treatment! Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings definitely raises some questions though. Like why did Shang-Chi’s father waste time sending assassins after them? Are those technically rings or bracelets? Why do best friends always insist on saying how long you’ve been friends? Why do they all get put in a cell that’s easy to escape from? How can Trevor Slattery communicate with Morris? Why are they in a BMW? What’s going on through all those VFX?
