Roger is forced to hurriedly perform an operation in order to save the life of a young boy, Kevin. But in order to same Kevin, Roger must amputate the boy's leg, something which greatly upsets both the Kevin and his father. Meanwhile, Evan must take care of his insane patient Charlie, who believes aliens are going to come to his aid.
