Pastor Josh Jamison opens the topic of not battling against flesh and blood but rather against principalities and powers. God is encouraging us as a people to stand therefore! Josh goes into referencing Ephesians 6:10-14 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore". Melissa Jamison states "We all have places in our life where we had to learn how to forgive" It is hard and not an easy thing. There is a mountain so to speak of having bitterness and un-forgiveness to overcome. Many times our un-forgiveness or bitterness is justified meaning somebody did something wrong that in our humanity we ought to be bothered about it by his grace God gives is the ability to afford the gift of forgiveness as he has forgiven us. This forgiveness is very important to our own lives and hearts that we know how to walk in it. When were troubled with something it isn’t like we pretend it isn’t there it is realizing and recognizing it is there whether its besetting sin, whether it's bitterness or un-forgiveness even sickness it is ok as a believer in Christ to recognize the problem it's up to us to receive the word of God, mix the word with faith and do what the word of gods says by being empowered by Christ.
