Jasna is confronted with Ziva's lighter. He remembers a childhood event when someone tried to drown Crt and gets confirmation that Crt is still being served by someone for life. The sawmills, meanwhile, begin to illegally cut down the forest, but Helena intervenes with an unexpected act. The Austrians are putting pressure on Blaz, who is increasingly withdrawing from his friendship with the pastor. The celebration of the Holy Night finally divides Trigrad, triggers an avalanche of violence and conflict, and at the same time connects Crt with three women of different generations into an unexpected family.
