Irina, on the other hand, is busy with Igor's family and as she answers the detective's call, she pretends to be speaking to a friend. Meanwhile, Nikolai is filled with guilt as he remembers Lucia's words of accusations against him. Nikolai's mother finds his son feeling troubled and drinking too much. She tries to convince him to stop thinking of Nadya.
